Ngozi Ebere Anyaehie A TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER-IN-LAW July 21, 2020

A TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER-IN-LAW

Akudo became a father to me when I got into the family. Papa who I fondly called Akus!-Akus!

Supported my transition and helped me in ways I can never repay. My first gift from you is a Holy Bible which you always read without glasses. During my trying period you supported me and prayed for me. With your prayers I took in and delivered a baby boy. You were very happy and excited to receive the news but didn't stay long to share the joy in fullest.

Akudo your love and compassion to me, my husband and son was priceless. Kind-hearted, caring, humorous, and always ready to give a genuine and sincere advice. Akudo intelligence was higher than that of some professors. Indeed he was a very neat/ hygienic and an organized man to the core. I was devastated when I heard the news of his demise. So hurting to realize that a good man was no more. But then, I appreciated God for the celebration of his life at a ripe age of 85. I thought you were joking when you told me that you will meet your creator anytime now. I took solace in the fact that we will meet again to part no more. Akus-Akus I miss you.

Adieu Akudo.... Bye nwoke Oma.

Ngozi Ebere Anyaehie.

Daughter

in-law

Sir Emeka Uzoma ENCOMIUM TO Late Chief Onwatogu Anyaehie June 21, 2020

Through the ages renowned Scholars have relentlessly propounded euphemistic hypothesis to buttress the veracity or otherwise of the infamous maxim asserting that Death is a necessary end that must come when it must come. Popular as this parliance or idiom may be, it is shrouded in controversy when juxtaposed against the incontrovertible truism  that in life, people are born, gifted, empowered and assigned specific tasks by the Almighty God and when they are fully accomplished, they are called back to their creator with no recourse to age, might, status and or size.Chief Onwatuegwu has played his part in this world and his creator had recalled him., So though we are saddened by the transition of  this humane and caring creature of God, we should thank God that he lived an examplary life and left a good legacy which are manifest in his Children.
My dear brothers, Bond, kachimore, Ebere, Emeka and dear sister Onyinye, I commiserate with you your mum  and other members of the larger Anyaehie clan.Take heart and may the soul of your father, Husband ,
grand father and nwoke obioma rest in the bossom of the Lord.

Dearest Onyi,

Death awaits us all. But to live a life worthy of emulation is rare in these times. I did not know your  Dad very well  but your stories and traits you exhibit can only mean one thing....apples do not fall far from the tree. I pray his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed RIP. AKUDO laa n'udo
Ojinmah Nkechi Heartfelt empathy June 5, 2020

Dearest  Onyii ,
It's heart breaking when we lost Someone so dear to us to the cold hands of death. Knowing how close you were to your Dad,am certain that you truly had missed him. I am  personally pained having  visited him barely 2 weeks before his death,we talked and he called me "nwa Ojinmah"
Yes he is dead but his good qualities  still speak for him.he  totally welcomed all and sundary in his nkwerre home, both rich and poor-a truth i am a  beneficiary. We really will miss him. Yet I want you to draw comfort  from these words recorded in the Bible book of Acts chapter 24:15"And I have Hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a ressurection of both the righteous and unrighteous."This is the anchor of our Christan faith. Take heart my dear friend.

It is with deep sense of sorrow that I, on behalf of my family, convey our condolences to your family on the demise of your beloved father. Those people who served within the strength of intelligence and discretion of your father were able to see farer and further because they stood firmly on the shoulder of your father who blazed the trail, set the standard and was kind enough to have his dreams achieved. May GOD give you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
I pray for the repose of his soul and call on my GOD JESUS CHRIST to keep and Bless you and family always.

Eddy Aneke EXIT OF A LEGEND May 27, 2020

Prof Anyaehi,
It's always a painful thing to loose a father especially one who is an Iroko tree for the whole family. There a time for everything under heaven Ecc 3:1-4; Heb 9:27. Your father was a great man and God gave him special grace to live beyond 70yrs Ps90:10. He worked hard to give you and your relations good education. He must have been a man of high integrity and well respected in the community. Though his death is irreplaceable, but you the children should take solace on his great legacy he left behind. May the good Lord comfort strengthen and guide you all to continue from where he stopped. God bless.
